Fields of application
Addition to conglomerates based on mineral and polymeric hydraulic binders; size adaptation of premixed mortars and grouts.
Allowed supports
Concrete
Cement-based or lime-based mortars
Mode of use
Add the desired amount of fine gravel to the mixture, during the mixing of the same. Add any additional remaining water and product base, until a cohesive and lump-free mixture is obtained. Leave the mixed conglomerate to rest, with added gravel for a few minutes before laying it.
The dosage of Ghiaietto 6.10, relative to the weight of the mixture of a product with water, can be maximum 30%-35% (100 kg of finished mixture with 30 kg of fine gravel).
PLEASE NOTE: to calculate the material required as a function of the volume to be filled, after having determined the required quantity of the preselected product based on the specific weight of the same (normally for a structural cement mortar it is about 1900 kg/mยณ), replace maximum 25% of the calculated weight with Ghiaietto 6.10 . To facilitate the calculation, as a general rule consider using one bag of Ghiaietto 6.10 for every three bags of (premixed) base product.
Application methods
To be added to other components
Technical specifications
Sub-angular rounded shape
Consumption
Variable according to the different design requirements for dilution of structural castable mortars (see details in the technical data sheets of the GROUT line products).
Packaging and dimensions
Bag 25 kg
Pallet: 63 x (Bag 25 kg)
Warnings
Excessive dosage of Ghiaietto 6.10 could result in reductions even significant in the stated mechanical performance for the product it is added to. Always follow the maximum dosages specified.
