Sanafarbe Marble Finishing
The long hardening lime putty, used as a binder, confers distinct breathable, antiseptic and anti-mildew properties. The high polishing aptitude with the spatula exalts, the aesthetic, repellent and anti-fouling properties.
The special formula of SANAFARBE MARMORINO FINITURA, based on long hardening lime putty, micronised marble dust, natural pigments and minerals, gives great breathability to the coating, remarkable mildewcide and antibacterial properties.
Fields of application
Decorative final coat, with marmorino (lime and marble powder) effect, for the construction of fine protective and decorative coatings, for ecological building interventions, new buildings and in the restoration of vintage buildings and monuments.
Preparation of supports
Application surfaces should be clean, free of soiling, crumbling and non-adhering parts, dust, etc., conveniently saturated with water until they reach the condition "saturated with dry surface".
Mode of use
SANAFARBE "MARMORINO" is ready-to-use, in the form of a thixotropic paste and must be applied with stainless steel trowel, and in two or three coats, depending on the desired level coverage. The last coat must be trowelled carefully, always with a spatula or stainless steel trowel, when the product begins to dry. SANAFARBE “MARMORINO” can be applied to internal and external surfaces. In the case of cement plaster or lime, like in pre-existing lime-based paints, as long as they are compact and not crumbly, apply directly.
Any organic type paints (washable, solvent, etc.) should be removed. In the presence of rough and/or non-homogeneous surfaces, preliminary homogenisation by application of SANAFARBE MARMORINO FONDO is required.
