Syntech Tarpox
The characteristics of SYNTECH TARPOX make it a product with high elasticity and flexibility, with excellent adhesion values โโto concrete and steel, with high resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, with high impermeability to both water and hydrocarbons and oils, with high resistance to abrasion and chemical aggression.
Fields of application
SYNTECH TARPOX is used for protective waterproofing of tanks, purifiers, sewer pipes, structures that are submerged or subject to shoreline in fresh and sea water, floats, oil pipelines, penstocks.
Preparation of supports
The application surfaces must be suitably prepared and adequately resistant: free from dust, grease, dirt, friable and / or inconsistent parts, free from surface dampness. A preliminary shot-peening or milling of the adhesion surfaces may be advisable. Any obvious holes, cracks, cracks or irregularities must be restored with Syntech AS 21.
Mode of use
Mix the components each in their own container before use. Put component B and component A into a suitable container and mix at low speed with a mixer for at least 5-6 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, free of lumps and air bubbles. Do not take partial quantities from the packages to avoid any errors in the mixing ratio which would cause incorrect hardening.
After applying SYNTECHPRIMER EP-W, and in any case no later than 24 hours, apply SYNTECH TARPOX by roller, brush or spray, pure or diluted. To obtain good protection, the minimum thickness applied must never be less than 150 ฮผm, while the maximum thickness does not normally exceed 600 ฮผm.
