Consilex Altrain WV
"Consilex Altrain WV belongs to the new generation of water-repellent agents based on organo-modified water-soluble silanes and siloxanes characterized by low emission of volatile organic compounds VOC and the absence of flammability and toxicity.The product is characterized by a low molecular weight that allows the excellent penetration deep into mineral absorbent materials without varying the permeability to water vapour nor the chromatic appearance of the surface.The particular chemical structure of Consilex Altrain WV assures its high alkali stability and therefore durability over time applied to alkaline materials such as cementitious plaster, mortar and cement.The result is a product with the following advantages:- non-flammable

Preparation of supports
It is advisable to treat vertical or highly inclined surfaces previously cleaned from soluble salts and dirt, taking care to eliminate even the parts with low surface adhesion by brushing and hydro-sandblasting.It is always essential to close the gaps of over 0.3 mm.Apply on dry surfaces.In case of rain or washing of the surfaces, wait 3 days before the treatment at a temperature of at least 20 °C.
Mode of use
Apply the product evenly and uniformly, by nebulization at low pressure or with a brush in one or more coats, possibly without interruption or intervals of time between one coat and the next, taking care to obtain the best saturation of the wall covering.
