Preparation of supports
The supports must be dry, clean and dust-free. In particular, pay attention to saline concentration, dirt, grease, oils, paints, moss and weeds, which can prevent the in-depth penetration of the product and that must be removed beforehand.
Mode of use
After dilution, Consilex Idroplus can be applied to clean absorbent mineral substrates by low-pressure spraying, roller, brush or total immersion. Apply the product homogeneously and evenly, by spraying at low pressure or brushing on one or more coasts, preferably without interruption or time intervals between one coat and the next, taking care to achieve the best saturation of the wall material.
For the treatment of raw ceramic materials such as tiles, bricks and flower pots, dilutions from 1:10 to 1:100 parts by weight are recommended. The exact dilution should be determined by experimental testing. For waterproofing cement or gypsum plasters or natural stones, the recommended dilutions are 1:10 to 1:30 parts by weight.
Apply Consilex Idroplus only on dry and clean mineral and absorbent media not affected by capillary rising phenomena. Shielding just-treated items from rain is recommended until complete water repellence development. It is in any case advisable to perform preliminary tests on the surface to be treated so as to verify the optimal operating conditions and the correct dilutions for use.
Due to the high alkalinity of Consilex Idroplus, it is essential to handle the product with care, wearing glasses, a mask, protective gloves and waterproof overalls.
Application methods
Low pressure airless nebulizer
Brush
